Post 9/11 Overture
It was the morning of 9/11/2001. We saw a plane hit the second tower. We watched office workers plunge 1000 feet to escape the inferno, choosing to live an extra two seconds and a less painful death. From a distance they looked so small! Fear of more than 20,000 casualties turned to relief with news confirming “only” 3,000 perished.
As the smoke cleared to reveal Ground Zero we vowed to never forget.
Around the globe, enemy hearts filled with pride and joy. Big Satan was on its knees. Sweets in Gaza alleyways! Dancing in Karachi streets! “Youths” cheered in London, Paris and Oslo. Oil sheiks rejoiced in Arabia – a long term investment had paid off.
Time froze and in a moment of absolute clarity we got it! An ancient menace had awakened to rekindle the flames of a 1400 year old war on civilization. The Jihad had reached America and our lives would never be the same!
The Jihad will end only when the whole world bows to Allah or the Islamists have been crushed and their ideology erased. It may last for centuries and the outcome is uncertain.
This enemy is unlike any we’ve ever faced. A perfect construct – a perpetual war machine! His warriors share the spoils on earth and dream of virgins in heaven. Their mission is to assimilate, subjugate or kill us, the infidels. To them, we are the barbarians. We, whose ancestors have built the freest most prosperous civilization the world has ever seen!
What is at stake in this war is the future of humanity – the final state of mankind. Will our children live under Shariah or the Constitution? Will the moral blueprint of future generations be the Qu’ran or the Bible?
Why we blog?
We fear for our children. They have not been raised warriors and we cannot shield them from this evil. We blog to help them understand, to alert them to the dangers ahead.
The enemy uses terror (jihad) and deceit (stealth jihad) on a scale so massive it is difficult to comprehend. Because he has the manpower, the enemy can open a new front every day, engendering fear in the hearts of our leaders and breeding a sense of helplessness among our people.
We hope to peel back the veils of deceit that conceal the true nature of this enemy and this war.
