Today, in the Balata neighborhood of Shechem (Nablus), Israeli troops killed an enemy commander and captured two other enemy fighters. The IDF elite Duvdevan unit tracked Hani Ka’abi to his home and killed him in the ensuing battle. His deputy, Hosni Tzalag, and a third terrorist were captured.

IDF soldiers tracked down and killed the mastermind of a plot to carry out a terrorist attack through the use of poison, after surrounding his house in the Balata neighborhood of Shechem Thursday morning.

The terror attack planned by Ka’abi involved slipping a slow-acting poison powder, virtually undetectable, into the food of diners at the “Grill Express” restaurant in Ramat Gan, where he had managed to recruit two Arab kitchen workers as new operatives.

Of all the acclaimed masterpieces that the world has seen, nothing can be compared to the book known as the Qur’an. Millions have become Muslims upon simply hearing a verse from this amazing book, yet still the majority knows nothing of it.

The Qur’an is the Final Revelation from the Creator to humanity. It was revealed in the year 610CE to the Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam), and completed over a period of 23 years. These 23 years of revelation resulted in a book which comprised of 114 chapters and 6,666 verses. All of this was to become the primary source of law for the whole of mankind to live and die by.

If people were to truly reflect upon this book, they would realize that nothing in this world is quite the same. So why should this claim be accepted over others? Why should the Qur’an be given precedence over the likes of the Bible, the Gita[2] or the Granth Sahib[3]? How sad it is that the Prime Minister of Israel feels empowered by, of all things, German permission to defend Jews marked for extermination by savage Jew-haters. Olmert’s big diplomatic break came after he promised the Germans that any future attempts to stop the Gaza Jihadis will be as ineffective as previous ones. Israel’s response will be “proportionate and effective”, he said. For instance, the last Kassam attack claimed the leg of an 8 year old boy. Therefore, Israel will aim its smart bombs at the legs of 8 year-old rocket launchers. That will show the world, as well as Olmert’s Communist wife and pro-terrorist daughter, that Prince Ehud is truly enlightened.

Oh, lest we forget, Olmert also assured the Germans that Jerusalem will be partitioned, just as soon as he gives away everything else. In the meantime, no one should take his statements to the contrary seriously, as those are designed to keep the bribed leaders of Shas in the coalition for as long as necessary to complete Bush’s “sacrifice the Jews for Saudi cash” plan. Olmert vowed not to let the daily accidental slaughter of Jews by Arabs interfere with his efforts to negotiate Israel’s terms of surrender. On his visit to Germany, the Prime Minister also scattered pearls of wisdom about Egypt, Iran and the UN, all designed to distract the Israeli public from his incompetence.

“Germany understands that Israel reserves the right to respond to terror attacks,” Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Tuesday.

Speaking to reporters in Berlin after meeting German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Olmert said the chancellor “understands that Israel cannot just leave the situation without a response,” which he said would be “proportionate and effective.”

Regarding negotiations over core issues with the Palestinians, the prime minister said that the most sensitive subjects, such as Jerusalem, would be left until the end of talks after agreements have been reached on other matters.

On June 22, 1940, Hitler accepted the surrender of the French government at a ceremony in Compiegne, France. Understanding the power of symbolism, he insisted on holding the ceremony in the same railroad car in which Germany signed the 1918 armistice. Under the terms of surrender, two thirds of France was occupied by the Germans. The French army was disbanded and France bore the cost of the German invasion.

On September 2, 1945, Mamoru Shigemitsu and Yoshijiro Umezu, representing Emperor Hirohito, boarded the USS Missouri to meet General Douglas MacArthur and sign Japan’s Instrument of Surrender. On hand to watch the surrender ceremony was General Jonathan Mayhew Wainwright IV, who on May 6, 1942, as Allied commander, surrendered the Philippines to an overwhelming Japanese invasion force. General Wainwright was held prisoner in Manchuria and tortured until his liberation by the Red Army in August 1945. MacArthur, who understood the power of symbolism, arranged for Wainwright to return to the Philippines and receive the surrender of the local Japanese commander, Lieutenant-General Tomoyuki Yamashita.

The United States’ compromise proposals for ending the Palestinian-Israeli conflict seem to offer the best chance of reaching an agreement in the near future, despite the serious reservations of both sets of negotiators.

Against a background of months of violence, many observers have been surprised that the plan has got anywhere at all.

The mood among Palestinians and Israelis is not for compromise, and even if a settlement is reached, it is far from clear that leaders on either side will be able to sell it to their sceptical supporters.

How dumb is Olmert, really? Dumb enough to give away Gaza, Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem. Dumb enough to demand in return that the PA accept Israel as a Jewish state.

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert intends to demand that the Palestinian Authority accept Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state in upcoming negotiations. This will be Israel’s precondition for any further negotiations with the PA, according to Channel 2 TV.

The report said that by making this simple demand, Olmert will be forcing the PA to give up its hope of making Israel accept an Arab influx into its borders (the “right of return” of “refugees”). If the PA accepts the condition, it will become that much simpler for Olmert to make concessions of his own.

So, he is just tricking them. Once they accept that Israel is a Jewish state, he can shower more goodies on them. What is left to concede? Tel Aviv?

Turns out the Prime Minister is not only dumb, he is a dumb crook. The idiot couldn’t even take a bribe without getting caught. Israeli police raided 20 offices to collect evidence against the crook.

One hundred policemen raided some 20 government and other offices Sunday morning, in search of evidence in the investigations against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
