Worldwide Kristallnacht Vigils

Antisemitism, Germany, Israel, United States · By

Abe Foxman says that the lesson from Kristallnacht is that we must stop hate in its track. His article in Ynet about the significance of Kristallnacht is insightful. However, he strips Jewishness out of the conclusion. All hate must be stopped, you see! Not just hate of Jews. The real lesson, of course, is that Jews must arm themselves to the teeth and be vigilant, less this happens again – to Jews. Read more >

Sarah Speaks to the Troops

“It is such an honor to be here.” Here is why the mainstream media will fail in its mission to destroy Sarah Palin. She speaks from the heart, as one of us. She loves America and adores the troops that defend its freedoms. “serve with honor soldiers, hooya!”

Washington Post reporter Anne Kornblut accuses Sarah of believing that Saddam Hussein helped plan 9/11. What an awful thing to believe! Of course, Kornblut and her friends know that 9/11 was an inside job. One problem, Sarah only stated the obvious, fighting and killing terrorists over there means there are less of them to come over here.

Most Dangerous Man in America

Grover Norquist enables Islamists in the Republican party and the US government. He is a close friend of President Bush and Karl Rove, as well as one of the most prominent leaders of the modern conservative movement.

Lat week, in Hot Air, Ed Morrissey wrote a glowing post about Norquist and his work with Americans for Tax Reform. Norquist delivered a great line, “The Left is not made up of friends and allies, but of competing parasites. If we don’t let them feed on us, they will gnaw on each other.”

Unfortunately, Morrissey failed to include information about Norquist’s other activities. Robert Spencer remedied the error with a succinct comment and an article in Front Page Magazine.

How Ruthless Should We Be?

Let’s see. We are under attack by an enemy whose stated goal is to kill us or assimilate us into his “superior” civilization. Should he be successful, our civilization, the freest and most prosperous the world has ever seen, will come to an end. This enemy is not the hapless dreamer he is made out to be by Liberal academic, media and political classes. Other civilizations crossed his path in the past with devastating consequences. Are there many Assyrians or Zoroastrians in your neighborhood?

From a thriving empire, the Assyrians have been reduced to a tiny persecuted minority in their homelands. They have endured much hardship throughout their recent history as a result of religious and ethnic persecution by Muslim majorities – Arabs, Persians and Turks. Estimates of the total number of Syriac Christians alive today vary greatly, between one and three million.

Pelosi 9, Olmert 3

Nancy PelosiNancy Pelosi’s Congress is three times as popular today as Ehud Olmert was in 2007. A Rasmussen tracking poll puts the percentage of people who think Congress is doing a good or excellent job at just 9%. This is the first time since measurement began that Congress’ approval dropped into single digits. Prince Ehud survived in 2007 and Queen Nancy does not appear to be in any danger in 2008. Why Jews Fear Obama

If Obama wins 61% of the Jewish vote, as a recent Gallup poll suggests, he will fall 20% short of what he needs to secure wins in New York, California, Pennsylvania and Illinois as well as have a shot at winning Ohio and Florida. That is why Obama pops up anywhere more than three Jews congregate.

He desperately needs the Jewish vote now, but his life story tells of a man who at best is indifferent to Jewish issues and most likely sympathizes with the enemies of Israel. His friends are his resume.

Tomas Sowell: The Imitators

Thomas SowellJewishWorldReview | If anyone suggested that Tiger Woods should try to be more like other golfers, people would question the sanity of whoever made that suggestion.

Why should Tiger Woods try to be more like Phil Mickelson? If Tiger turned around and tried to golf left-handed, like Mickelson, he probably wouldn’t be as good as Mickelson, much less as good as he is golfing the way he does right-handed. Read more >

Thomas Sowell: The Imitators, Part II

JewishWorldReview | It must be a bitter disappointment to those in the media and in politics who have been dying to use the word “recession” that, for the second quarter in a row, there has been no downturn in the economy, though growth has been slow.

Alarmists have been reduced to quoting other alarmists on the supposedly impending recession but that is still not the real thing.

The definition of a “recession” is very clear and straightforward: Two consecutive quarters of negative growth. We have not yet had one consecutive quarter of negative growth. Read more >

Thomas Sowell: The Imitators, Part III

JewishWorldReview | Some of the people who are most adamant against outsourcing economic activity from the United States to other countries often seem to think we should outsource our foreign policy to “world opinion” or act only in conjunction “with our NATO allies.”

Like so many things that are said when it comes to public policy, there is very little attention paid to the actual track record of “world opinion” or of “our NATO allies.” Read more >

Did McClellan Turn on Bush?

Scotty McClellanThe drive-by-media are trying to explain Scott McClellan’s sudden betrayal of President bush in his ‘tell all’ book. They are missing the point. McClellan did not turn. He is what he has always been – a whiny Liberal.

The real question is why, with the exception of Cheney, Ashcroft and Rummy, Bush appointed Liberals to all key positions in his administration. Sadly, the answer is that Bush himself is quite Liberal. He was upfront about it too. He told us from the start that he was a ‘compassionate conservative.’ Read more >
