An insane judge in Amsterdam put Europe on trial and the Islamists are watching. If Geert Wilders is penalized for his heroic efforts to save the West from Sharia Law, then Europe is doomed. Muammar Al Gathafi once boasted that Islam will conquer Europe without firing a single shot. He was right.

Dutch anti-Islamist politician Geert Wilders, a key player in efforts to form a new government, accused judges trying him on charges of inciting hatred of scandalous bias and demanded they be replaced.

Wilders, who has 24-hour police guard because of death threats, went on trial Monday over comments including a comparison he made between the Islamic faith and Nazism.

The prosecutor, reacting to complaints about Wilders, originally said he was protected by the right to free speech, but a court overruled him and ordered that Wilders be charged.

Let’s take a step back and understand this. Former Muslim and author Wafa Sultan, former Muslim and Dutch MP Ayaan Hirsi Ali, scholar Robert Spencer, former Muslim and scholar Ibn Warraq, scholar Bat Ye’or, former Muslim Nonie Darwish, cartoonist Lars Vilks, cartoonist Kurt Westergaard, Danish newspaper publisher Flemming Rose, South Park producers Trey Parker and Matt Stone, Salman Rushdie and countless others, myself included, receive horrible threats all the time. Wafa Sultan is the only Southpark1 American living in hiding. Geert Wilders lives under round-the-clock tight security because of the hundreds of death threats he receives every year. Theo Van Gogh was murdered in cold blood in the streets of The Netherlands because of a perceived insult to Islam (photo below).

The Telegraph is usually better than this, and does a great deal of useful reporting on stories related to the Islamization of Britain. But the choice of words to describe Wilders’ demand that a biased judge be replaced is so very ironic here, considering that his own life is in danger over words and a film that insulted Islam.

He is on trial for just that. Indeed, he is the one under “attack” by the court for exercising his natural and legal rights to free speech in what happened to be politically incorrect way. This is the sort of trial one would expect to find recorded in black-and-white or sepia-toned photographs from a time long since past, spoken of in the same tones as the Scopes trial is today.

Struggling to stay above water in the ratings race, Christiane Amanpour tackled the hot topic of Islam on This Week, ABC’s rapidly sinking program. She invited some outstanding talking-heads for the non-Islamist, pro-West side – Robert Spencer, Rev. Franklin Graham and Gary Bauer in a cameo appearance. Though the in-studio audience was stacked with apologists for Islam and gullible lefties and despite her self-righteous “crusade” against “Islamophobia,” Amanpour did let the “Islamophobes” finish their sentences, resulting in the audience actually receiving useful information.

“I understand what the Muslims want to do in America. They want to build as many mosques and cultural centers as possible so they can convert as many Americans as they can to Islam. Look, I love the Muslim people, but I have great difficulties with the Religion, especially with Shariah law, what it does to women and to non-believers and the violence that is given under Shariah law.” — Rev. Daisy Khan, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf’s wife, found her mission of doing taqiyya (the Islamic practice of lying to infidels for the sake of Allah), complicated by Imam Anjem Choudary, who appeared via a live video feed from London. He truthfully explained the global ambitions of Shariah. “Proof of Islam’s diversity,” exclaimed Daisy. Of course, Choudary was the only Imam on the panel and his “views” are not only best informed, but also most authoritative.

“We do believe as Muslims, the East and the West will one day be governed by the Shariah. Indeed we believe that one day the flag of Islam will fly over the White House. Indeed there  is even an oration of the Prophet (Muhammad, Ed.) when he said the Day of Judgment will not come until a group of my Ummah (Nation, Ed.) conquers the white house.” — Imam Anjem Choudary, live from London.

Few people dare to speak the truth about Islam in public, because Muslims have a nasty habit of beheading those who stand in their way. That’s why Robert Spencer and Franklin Graham are such heroic figures in this clash of civilizations. However, beyond any doubt, the bravest warrior for the West is Geert Wilders. You may recall his inspirational speech at Ground Zero.

Wilders spoke in Berlin yesterday, alerting Europe, yet again, to the existential danger Islam poses to our way of life. He spoke German, but here is the complete English transcript.

Dear Friends,

I am very happy to be here in Berlin today. As you know, the invitation which my friend René Stadtkewitz extended to me, has cost him his membership of the CDU group in the Berlin Parliament. René, however, did not give in to the pressure. He did not betray his convictions. His dismissal prompted René to start a new political party. I wish him all the best. As you may have heard, the past weeks were extremely busy for me. Earlier this week we succeeded in forging a minority government of the Liberals and the Christian-Democrats which will be supported by my party. This is an historic event for the Netherlands. I am very proud of having helped to achieve this. At this very moment the Christian-Democrat Party conference is deciding whether or not to approves this coalition. If they do, we will be able to rebuild our country, preserve our national identity and offer our children a better future.

Despite my busy schedule at home, however, I insisted on coming to Berlin, because Germany, too, needs a political movement to defend German identity and to oppose the Islamization of Germany. Chancellor Angela Merkel says that the Islamization of Germany is inevitable. She conveys the message that citizens have to be prepared for more changes as a result of immigration. She wants the Germans to adapt to this situation. The Christian-Democrat leader said: “More than before mosques will be an integral part of our cities.”

My friends, we should not accept the unacceptable as inevitable without trying to turn the tide. It is our duty as politicians to preserve our nations for our children. I hope that René’s movement will be as successful as my own Partij voor de Vrijheid, as Oskar Freysinger’s Schweizerische Volkspartei in Switzerland, as Pia Kjaersgaard’s Dansk Folkeparti in Denmark, and similar movements elsewhere. According to Qur’an 3:167, Muslims who refuse to fight in the name of Allah are hypocrites. Believers answer the call of Jihad to fight in Allah’s cause. Muhammad, Islam’s only Prophet, labels non-believers “infidels” – enemies of Allah. He orders Muslims to fight, murder and enslave them until the whole world surrenders to Islam. The order to fight infidels is clear, open ended and retractable only by Allah.

Qur’an 8:039 – And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah.

Qur’an 9:005 – Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush.

No mere present day Imam can abrogate these commandments. In view of the severe consequences, to us, is it not prudent to ask whether Christians and Jews qualify as infidels?

At least one Tea Party activist at Glenn Beck’s Restoring Honor rally seems to believe that Muslims indeed want to kill us because we are infidels. Where did he get such an idea? Can you say 9/11?

Of course, Pat Condell is right. It would be totally insane to allow the enemy to run a victory lap on the graves of our friends. With the public overwhelmingly opposed to a mosque rising from the 9/11 ashes, it is surprising that New York politicians are not jumping on the bandwagon.

Carl Paladino, a Republican candidate for Governor of New York, is the only one to come out against the Islamic supremacist mega-mosque at Ground Zero.

“As Governor,” Paladino said Wednesday in a radio ad, “I will use the power of eminent domain to stop this mosque and make the site a war memorial instead of a monument to those who attacked our country.”

I like this guy. I really like this guy. If the Supreme Court could rule, in the notorious 2005 decision Kelo v. City of New London, that the government could seize private property for a private developer and then never develop the property, surely Americans should be able to use eminent domain to designate the Burlington Coat Factory building a war memorial.

That building is a war memorial since part of one of the 9/11 airplanes crashed into it, causing severe damage. That makes the building a war memorial, no less than Gettysburg or Pearl Harbor. There should be no mosque there, and nothing there but a memorial to the people that America lost to that heinous Islamic jihad attack on September 11, 2001.

LONDON – A Tel Aviv University professor is set to open this year’s “Israel Apartheid Week” taking place at three London university campuses.

Adi Ophir, an associate professor at TAU’s Cohn Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science, will open the event on Monday. “Israel Apartheid Week” takes place at the School of Oriental and African Studies, the London School of Economics and University College London.

Also taking part is Israel-born lawyer Daniel Machover, co-founder of Lawyers for Palestinian Human Rights. Machover is also a major player in the campaign to arrest Israeli officials who visit the UK, on charges of war crimes. Read more >

Global Warming? Global Cooling? What’s up with the weather? In addition to seasonal variability, caused by the angle of Earth’s axis to the plain of the sun, weather changes over time. Many factors contribute to a planet’s climate patterns. Some of these factors are: distance from the sun, heat generated by the sun, cooling of the interior, percentage covered by water and composition of the atmosphere. Because these factors vary over time climate will always change. Get used to it! CO2 has little to do with it.

Even as some Muslims blow up in public places, others hold conventions to spread the faith in the lands of the infidels. On December 25, the Islamic Circle of North America gathered in Atlanta for an annual hatefest.

In Toronto, Muslims have gathered for Reviving the Islamic Spirit (RIS).

Close to 17,000 Muslims came to Metro Toronto’s Convention Centre on Friday – Christmas Day – to learn about their religion and being a Muslim in a modern world.

They heard from Islamic scholars, prayed, visited with family and friends and shopped in a bazaar that offered up a variety of wares, including hand-embroidered shawls, books, T-shirts, hijabs for both women and children, jewellery and hijab pins.

It was all part of a three-day convention “Reviving the Islamic Spirit,” an annual conference with its roots in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attack. It is designed, organizers say, as a way to help young Muslims understand their faith in a North American context.
