PLO, Oslo and Two Passover Beggars

Great analogies take many paragraphs to develop so here is a peak at the end.

For 16 years now, Israel’s elites have been living in a make-believe world in which Jews are to blame for nearly everything and Arabs are merely expressing “frustration” at being “mistreated” for so many years by Jews.

And the psychological war mounted by Israel’s elites against national pride, dignity and self-respect – indeed against national existence – has been accompanied by a set of diplomatic policies expressing little more than self-loathing – policies that in effect allow no act of Arab violence to go unrewarded.

A TALE OF TWO BEGGARS

Steven Plaut

Once upon a time, somewhere in the steppes of Eastern Europe, in the Pale that contained many a Jewish village, there roamed two beggars. One of the hobos was a Jew, the other a gentile.

The two transients were friends and far too lazy to hold any job or do any real work. So they wondered carefree, aimlessly and uselessly from village to village, begging for food, sometimes collecting discarded things to sell, here and there stealing some eggs or fruits off farm trees. It was a hard life and they often found themselves on the brink of starvation.

One day, as the two were looking for someone from whom they could shnorr some food, they came upon a shtetl whose residents were all buzzing about, hurrying, scouring pots and pans, cleaning their homes and cooking.

The Jewish beggar suddenly realized it was but a few hours before Passover was to begin.

Did McClellan Turn on Bush?

Scotty McClellanThe drive-by-media are trying to explain Scott McClellan’s sudden betrayal of President bush in his ‘tell all’ book. They are missing the point. McClellan did not turn. He is what he has always been – a whiny Liberal.

The real question is why, with the exception of Cheney, Ashcroft and Rummy, Bush appointed Liberals to all key positions in his administration. Sadly, the answer is that Bush himself is quite Liberal. He was upfront about it too. He told us from the start that he was a ‘compassionate conservative.’ Read more >

Syrian Victory: Olmert Confirms Golan Capitulation

We previously wrote about the Golan here and here, but with Olmert’s confirmation that he has agreed to cede at least part, if not most, of the territory to Syria, it is time to re-visit the subject.

OK, so Olmert is a retard, but how little must he think of the Israeli people to try this fast one. The agreement calls for Syria to utter a cleverly crafted phrase, like “we denounce all terrorism” in exchange for the return of territory legitimately won by Israel in war – the time honored method of land transfer.

Every piece of land belonging to somebody today has at some time in the past been acquired through conquest. America is probably the only country to have paid for land in cash (Louisiana and Alaska). Historically, land has always been paid for in blood. That is just how it is. Anybody who tells you differently is either naive or lying. Anybody who tells you that times have changed is a fool or worse – a Liberal.

The Golan is strategically important. It gives Israel the high grounds overlooking Syria.

Saint James of Arabia’s Donors List

Turns out that Jimmy Carter, the worst ex-president in the history of the United States, was hostile to Israel even way back in 1980. Ed Koch, former mayor of New York, indicts the Antisemite.

Ford lost to Jimmy Carter. I came to know Carter well.

When he ran for reelection, he asked me to campaign for him in 1980 – I was by then Mayor of New York City — and I said that I would vote for him, but not campaign for him because he was then engaging in hostile acts towards Israel. I was popular with the Jewish community and when I would not campaign for him unless he changed his position, he called me to his hotel in New York when attending a fundraiser and said, “You have done me more damage than any man in America.” I felt proud then, and even more today, since we now know what a miserable president he was then and the miserable human being he is now as he prepares to meet with Hamas.

Bush Capitulates on Global Warming

President Bush reacted energetically to the 9/11 attacks on America and delivered serious tax cuts early in his first term. Other than that, he demonstrated criminal incompetence on all issues important to the Conservative movement. From borders, language and culture to fiscal responsibility, he made things worse. He appointed Liberals to all senior positions, including Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense, he betrayed the economy, he betrayed Israel, and now…

Fiscal Conservatives have accused him of spending like a drunken sailor, hastily apologizing to drunken sailors, who could not possibly spend as irresponsibly as the Bush administration.

Evangelicals have been alienated by the administration’s betrayal of Jewish rights in the Holy Land. His personal friendship with the Saudi oil tics has had the same effect as rubbing salt on open wounds. His inability to recognize the global Jihad and effectively combat it will be his most devastating legacy.

His stealth attempt to grant amnesty to illegal aliens and open the borders would have laid the foundation for the eventual disappearance of the United States. Needless to say, it angered everyone. A massive Conservative grass roots mobilization stopped the nonsense, temporarily.

Family Values and Judicial Conservatives vigorously opposed the appointment of a Liberal Bush crony, Harriet Miers, to the Supreme Court. His previous appointee, John Roberts, was a moderate originalist with many Liberal friends to provide character references. Conservatives managed to kill the Miers nomination and forced Bush to select a true Conservative originalist, Sam Alito, whose elderly mother lovingly stated on camera, “Of course he is against abortions. I raised him well.”

One can go on and on, but let’s get to the latest demonstration of Bush’s incompetence and Liberal tendencies. Evidently, the President is now ready to embrace Al Gore’s massive government power grab and vast erosion of individual freedoms, under the guise of combating ‘temperature change’. The Washington Times reports that Bush is preparing a global warming initiative. Idiot!

She said the administration’s discussions, both internally and with Congress, are building toward an expected debate on climate change in the Senate in June and toward the next G-8 meeting in July, when the U.S. would like to have a more specific conversation about goals for cutting greenhouse-gas emissions.

At the end of this week, U.S. officials will be in Paris for a meeting with officials from other major economic powers, where climate change is expected to be on the table. Sources in the administration and in Congress say this meeting explains the White House push.

Shimon Peres Attacks Jerusalem Yeshiva

Shimon Peres attacked Merkaz HaRav (The Rabbi’s Center) Yeshiva in Jerusalem yesterday, killing eight students and seriously injuring ten more, by supplying a Kalashnikov to an Arab Jihadi. Merkaz HaRav is the educational center for the religious Zionist movement that will soon rule the country. The terrorist broke into the school at 8:30 PM and started shooting students in the library. Thank G-d Israelis have guns and know how to use them. Two bullets to the head united the Jihadi with the virgins.

In Gaza, the savages celebrated with sweets. In Israel, a Foreign Ministry official hurried to assure President Bush and Condi Rice that the unfortunate event will not delay the “peace process”. Guess which side is losing the Jihad wars.

Arutz Sheva has the gory details.

Olmert Kills Father of Four in Sderot

Ehud Olmert, Politics · By

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert (approval rating 3%) personally killed a father of four in Sderot yesterday, using 50 Kassam rockets launched from behind the fences of the Gaza zoo. Prince Ehud would rather please President Bush, his own pro-Arab lesbian daughter and crazy commie wife, than stop the Jew killing. On the excrement scale, the Prime Minister scores a 9, but only because 10 is reserved for the leadership of the religious Shas party who, for a fistful of shekels, are knowingly letting him destroy the Jewish state.

Roni Yahya, 47, was killed in Sapir College, home of Nizar Hassan who expels students for displaying the Star of David or IDF insignias, Arutz Sheva reports. Professor Hassan was not hurt in the attack. Read more >

Barak: Futile Anti-Kassam Operations Will Continue

The Jerusalem Post reports that 250 residents demonstrated in front of Ehud Olmert’s office. Prince Ehud was not in.

Meanwhile, another Ehud, Defense Minister Ehud Barak, visited Sderot, where he promised that futile operations against Kassam rocket attacks from Gaza will continue. Reassuringly, he added that previously undisclosed, ineffective, undercover operations will also continue. With dozens of Kassams raining down on the city, Sderot residents must have lost their hearing. One resident wondered, “Why did you come here?”

Early Sunday morning, Defense Minister Ehud Barak and his deputy, Matan Vilna’i, visited Sderot following the turbulent weekend during which some four dozen rockets were fired at the town. Read more >

Bush Surrenders in Ramallah

George W. Bush, Israel · By

On June 22, 1940, Hitler accepted the surrender of the French government at a ceremony in Compiegne, France. Understanding the power of symbolism, he insisted on holding the ceremony in the same railroad car in which Germany signed the 1918 armistice. Under the terms of surrender, two thirds of France was occupied by the Germans. The French army was disbanded and France bore the cost of the German invasion.

On September 2, 1945, Mamoru Shigemitsu and Yoshijiro Umezu, representing Emperor Hirohito, boarded the USS Missouri to meet General Douglas MacArthur and sign Japan’s Instrument of Surrender. On hand to watch the surrender ceremony was General Jonathan Mayhew Wainwright IV, who on May 6, 1942, as Allied commander, surrendered the Philippines to an overwhelming Japanese invasion force. General Wainwright was held prisoner in Manchuria and tortured until his liberation by the Red Army in August 1945. MacArthur, who understood the power of symbolism, arranged for Wainwright to return to the Philippines and receive the surrender of the local Japanese commander, Lieutenant-General Tomoyuki Yamashita.

Failed President On Fool’s Errand

George W. Bush headed to the Middle East where he will enable a weak Ehud Olmert to offer up new concessions. On a previous visit, he looked into the eyes of Dr. Mahmoud Abbas, PhD – Holocaust Denial, University of Moscow and somehow, failed to see the soul of a committed Jew-killer. He found Abbas to be a man of peace. Bush, of course, is well known for his uncanny ability to read megalomaniacs, as evidenced by his now famous “soul gazing” into Vladimir Putin’s eyes.

I looked the man in the eye. I found him to be very straight forward and trustworthy and we had a very good dialogue.

I was able to get a sense of his soul.

He’s a man deeply committed to his country and the best interests of his country and I appreciate very much the frank dialogue and that’s the beginning of a very constructive relationship.

In Jerusalem, demonstrations against the Bush/Olmert plan to divide the city are underway. The posters may be in bad taste, but they capture the anger of many supporters of Israel.
