It has come to my attention that the boycott of the Toronto Film Festival for featuring Tel Aviv has been defeated by people who bought up all the tickets, at least the ones online.  If more tickets are available, be sure to buy them and fill the theaters.

If we can make this the most successful film festival ever, that would be a real victory.

Thanks to all who participated, wrote, voiced an opinion, and bought a ticket. The Toronto Jewish community is great!

How you are handling this should set an example to Jewish communities everywhere on how to behave in such a situation.

Dr. Alan Meyers and 724 other physicians from 43 countries don’t like the fact that an Israeli (pronounced “Jew”), Dr. Yoram Blachar, was appointed president of the World Medical Association. They want him removed and have signed a petition to that effect.

Britain is notorious for Islamist activities and Antisemitic currents, but note the alarming per capita stealth Jihadis in Canada, where an Islamization process is taking place under the radar. Hamel is an obscure Antisemite peddling his hate in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, in the Health Studies program.

Dr. Meyers, turns out to be a conspiracy nut.

He has been a fixture of the self-loathing anti-Zionist scene for years as a member of Jewish Voice for Peace and Jews for a Just Peace (or whatever it is they’re calling themselves these days). If there’s a demonstration being held against Israel somewhere, you’re likely to find Meyers there. He was there when two border guards were injured at the “non-violent” protests in Bil’in, and he was active in the staged barring of “health professionals” from Gaza back in August.

Dr. Paul Hamel, Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, in the Health Studies program, likes to chill with terrorists and terror enablers. Not surprisingly, he also hates America. In 2005, he was encouraging Canadian researchers to refuse grants from the war criminals in the US Army on grounds that such refusal would “reduce global morbidity and mortality” or something like that. With Obamanomics driving the world into abject poverty, would you turn down a generous US Army grant?

In Canada, we have guidelines that strictly regulate the use of human stem cells and assisted human reproduction. Both Bill C-6 and the Guidelines on Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Research came about through public consultations with scientists, faith groups, the Canadian public and scholars in bioethics, sociology and law, among others. These instruments established guidelines for ethical research into and use of technologies with potentially profound life-saving medical benefits. Furthermore, the Guiding Principles include the notion that “Research undertaken should have potential health benefits for Canadians” and that the research should “Respect individual and community notions of human dignity and physical, spiritual and cultural integrity.”

As these instruments came into effect and the establishment of the first human stem cell lines in Canada was about to be announced, representatives of the U.S. Army were touring southern Ontario universities. The purpose of this tour was to make known to researchers at Canada’s premier research institutions the various funding opportunities available to them through the U.S. military. For example, through the Pentagon’s International Technology Center-Canada, Canadian scientists were asked for contributions in the development of systems enhancing the survivability, maneuverability or lethality of U.S. forces including “[technologies] to provide the warfighter the ability to autonomously deliver payloads (up to 30,000 lbs.) accurately from high altitudes (25,000 ft) and offset distances (20-30 km)” and “A fire control system that can perform tactical and technical fire control for both missiles and guns” able to “assign targets to the optimum weapon and fire multiple weapons at multiple targets.” Read more >

Members of the Faculty at the University of Toronto have tried to stop Israel Apartheid Week on campus, to no avail. The donors, many Jewish, keep giving and the Jew-haters keep indoctrinating malleable young minds. People find it difficult to accept, but the reason the University of Toronto allows open Jew-hatred on campus is because they hate Jews. They willingly enable Jew-killers because they like dead Jews. Discomforting as the thought may be, there is no other answer. Dr Paul Hamel is a particularly sly “just under the radar” Jew-hater. He is an unnoticed volunteer worker-bee in the Islamofascist hive. Steve Samuel: “Last night, at the University College building of U of T, a pseudo-medical presentation was made under the title of “Medicine, War and Occupation: The Case of Gaza.” It turned out to be a clear demonstration of hatred, intolerance and total opposition to any constructive dialogue. It was not only devoid of any scientific medical data but when the misrepresentations were challenged with documented facts the environment turned very ugly. I attended and, in the attachment to this e-mail, I have described in detail to my colleagues in DARA (Doctors Against Racism and Anti-Semitism) what transpired. Remember when Jewish-Canadian Avi Lewis was just an America-bashing CBC TV employee? His show, On the Map, repeatedly ‘exposed’ America, Jews, and capitalism. It fawned over Islam.
