Will Settlers Defeat Obama’s Islamist Agenda?

Barack Obama, Israel, Judea & Samaria · By Caidom

obama_muslim_outfit_02Without getting into the question of why, it should by now be obvious to anybody paying attention that Obama has bent American foreign policy in a decidedly pro-Islamist direction. The submissive bow to King Abdullah and the humiliating apologies in Cairo would be sufficient evidence. Brutal verbal attacks on the State of Israel and denial of the right of Jews to live in their historic homeland complete the picture. Even traditionally Liberal Jews are getting it now! Barack Hussein Obama empathizes with his late father whose roots are in Muslim Kenya. His extensive Muslim family lives in Kenya, including his father’s second, third and fourth wives and their numerous children. Obama is a Kenyan who by some divine retribution was inflicted on the American people as President of the United States.

So are the Jews of Israel doomed? Not necessarily! Haaretz, the Palestinian daily published in Hebrew and English, reports it as a bad thing, but apparently the “militant settlers” are both inclined and well positioned to stop the madness. Read carefully and you will notice, between the tears for the orchards of the Arab invaders and the blind faith in the power of CNN (whose ratings have dropped below MSNBC), that there is no chance in hell that Judea will be made judenfri. Support Our Moral One State Solution

Antisemitism, Islam, Israel, Judea & Samaria, Neve Gordon · By Caidom

Jew-haters in academia are not all cut from the same cloth. Noam Chomsky, for instance, most likely, hates Jews because they remind him of his parents. Paul Hamel appears to be a compulsive groupie. He likes to hang with exciting people who happen to be Antisemitic terrorist enablers.

Neve Gordon believes that he has a calling, from whatever secularist gods he worships, to bring about the destruction of Israel, whose Jewishness he regards as a personal affront, a stain on his resume. He does not want to live in a Jewish democratic apartheid state. The alternative, a shariah state in which Jews are subservient to Muslim supremacists, suits him just fine. This pompous know-it-all academic is like a man who walks into a fifteen round no-holds-barred extreme fight just in time to see one fighter beating the other mercilessly. He concludes that the fight is unfair;  one side is clearly over matched. As it happens, the fighter doing the beating in round fourteen barely escaped certain death in the earlier thirteen rounds. Once he gains the upper hand, he desperately keeps pummeling his opponent, knowing that if he stops, for even a moment, the bigger opponent will recover and very likely kill him.

Muslims have been oppressing, beating, taxing and killing Jews for thirteen centuries before the re-birth of the state of Israel. One of Muhammad’s earliest atrocities was the murder and exile of the Jews from the town of Yathrib (today’s Madinah, Saudi Arabia). It was but the first of many attempted genocides of Jews by Muslims. On his dying bed Muhammad decreed eternal animosity for Jews (and Christians). Muslim Arabs (as in “from Arabia”) conquered the Holy Land for the first time in 639 AD and have been tormenting Jews there ever since.

The six million Jews of Israel know that weakness will result in their extinction. Just like Southern slave owners never accept freed slaves as equals, the world’s 1.3 billion Muslims do not accept that Jews, whom they have ruled for centuries, deserve of a state of their own.

Here is what Neve Gordon would have written if he knew history and really wanted his boys to be free. Read more >

Olmert Is No Chimp

Ehud Olmert, Humour, Israel, Judea & Samaria, PLO, Science · By Mordecai

German researchers have demonstrated that chimpanzees make better survival choices than Ehud Olmert, the Prime Minister of Israel.

Researchers from the Max Planck Institute of Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig studied the chimp’s choices by using an economic game with two players. In the game, a human or chimpanzee who receives something of value can offer to share it with another.

If the proposed share is rejected, neither player gets anything.

Humans typically make offers close to 50 percent of the reward. They also reject as unfair offers of significantly less than half of the reward, even though this choice means they get nothing.

The study, however, showed chimpanzees reliably made offers of substantially less than 50 percent, and accepted offers of any size, no matter how small.

The researchers concluded chimpanzees do not show a willingness to make fair offers and reject unfair ones. In this way, they protect their self interest and are unwilling to pay a cost to punish someone they perceive as unfair.

The study appeared in the Oct. 5 issue of the journal Science.

Mahmoud Abbas, “President” of the PLO, is demanding that Olmert, make a generous offer. Read more >

Clueless in Jerusalem

Demography, Ehud Olmert, Judea & Samaria, Thomas Sowell · By Mordecai

Thomas Sowell wrote a great book, Applied Economics: Thinking Beyond Stage One, in which he explains that politicians have no reason to think beyond the first stage of an economic problem. Mayor Jones, who places onerous taxes on businesses headquartered in his city to subsidize public transportation, is unlikely to still be around twenty years later when the total number of corporate headquarters in the city will have shrunk to nothing. By that time Jones will have already served a term as Governor and will have been re-elected for a second term in the US Senate. If, at that time, anybody raises questions about the plight of his former city, Senator Jones will use the opportunity to point out that the city was thriving during his term as Mayor.

One would think that, when it comes to national security, politicians would smarten up fast. After all, a military defeat could be costly, not least to the politicians themselves. But, alas, politicians remain stupid to the very end. For instance, the Oslo accords caused the death of thousands of Israelis. For his role in engineering Oslo, Shimon Peres received a Nobel Peace Prize. For exercising extreme stupidity in tirelessly working to repeat the Oslo debacle, he was elected President of Israel.

Ehud Olmert, the Prime Minister of Israel, is clearly not too bright, even when compared to other politicians. In his opening speech to the winter session of the Knesset, he stated that “Israel must either create an Arab state in Judea, Samaria and Gaza or face a violent demographic struggle.”

If he could think beyond stage one, he would recognize that handing over Judea and Samaria will yield  a more desperate struggle against a highly motivated enemy in control of territory from which to launch a major war. In order to prevent a demographic struggle, great leaders exile the enemy, not their own people.

The rest of the speech was equally embarrassing. Olmert demonstrated that, to his twisted mind, maintaining the Jewish character of Israel isn’t worth a bitter struggle.

Holy History – Jerusalem

History, Hits, Israel, Judea & Samaria, Photos · By Mordecai

To celebrate the year 5768 since creation, we compiled this concise history of Judea and Jerusalem. For extra bonus points we added a photo gallery at the end. Enjoy!

Canaanite tribes were the first settlers in what was then appropriately named Canaan. They remained its principal inhabitants till the second millennium BC. In the middle of the millennium twelve Hebrew tribes, originating in Mesopotamia, settled in the hills. At the same time Philistines from the Aegean settled in the southern coastal plain. The Hebrews eventually established the Kingdom of Israel.

In 722 BC, the Kingdom of Israel was conquered by the Assyrians; ten of the tribes were exiled and are considered ‘lost’ till this day. The remaining Kingdom of Judah was conquered by the Babylonians in the year 586 BC, the Temple was destroyed, and the Sons of Israel went into the first Babylonian exile.

In 539 BC, Babylon was conquered by the Persians and the tribe of Judah was allowed to return to its homeland. In 538 BC, with permission from Cyrus, king of Persia, Sheshbazzar led a return and begun rebuilding the Temple. The Second Temple was completed by Governor Zrubbabel in 520 to 515 BC but Jerusalem remained in ruins.
