Prime Minister Moussavi and the First Supreme Leader Khomeni
We haven’t written about events in Iran because we could not understand what the fuss was all about. The Butcher of Beirut vs. the Hitler of Our Time, and we are supposed to choose sides?
In all the excitement, highly respected Conservative bloggers lost their bearings. Stars like Michelle Malkin started posting in support of the “green revolution” led by Mir-Hossein Mousavi, who in the 80s arranged the attack on the US Marine barracks in Beirut and is widely known to be the founder of Hezbollah.
Bloggers pined for Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the first Ayatollah to come out in favor of nuking the Jews, to tip the scales in favor of the Butcher and his minions in their struggle to wrestle control from Hitler and his thugs. How one group of militant Shia Islamists would be better than another group of militant Shia Islamists is beyond us.
Of course, when the enemy has to expend energy suppressing uprisings in the rear it is a good thing by definition. Hopefully, fighting each other will keep the Ayatollahs busy. So here is to chaos in the Islamic Republic of Iran! May the Supreme Leader and the Supreme Leader wannabe both suffer the fate they so richly deserve, in hell. What color should we display for that? Red?
Debbie Schlussel got it right and has been posting furiously on the subject.

“Soylent Green Revolution Syndrome”: Mousavi Masterminded Hezbo Murder of U.S. Marines
Islam Scholar Dr. Andrew Bostom made a great comparison. He compares the green phony democracy stuff in Iran that blind Westerners are eating up to “Soylent Green”–the recycled green “matter” (which turned out to be recycled dead humans) that ignorant humans ate in a desolate future in the great early ’70s Charlton Heston flick. He calls it “Mousavi’s Soylent Green Revolution.” He has more on how supporting the green protesters is perpetuating Iran’s culture of hate–to the point of these young revolutionaries kicking helpless puppies!
Washington Times and syndicated columnist Diana West takes it a step further, riffing off of Andrew’s comparison and calling Westerner’s blind cheering for the Iranian protesters, “Soylent Green Revolutionary Syndrome,” an excellent moniker. West calls the Wall Street Journal’s Bret Stephens to the carpet over his absolutely disgusting pandering to Islam and an extremist Mousavi-supporting Iranian Shi’ite cleric.
When I read Stephens’ barf-worthy column in yesterday’s paper, I wanted to hurl. He talks about how “allahu akbar”–the Muslim terror chant that allah is the “greatest” or “greater” than our G-d–”sounded so sweet” and how Mousavi–the founder of Hezbollah and the man behind the bombing murders of hundreds of our Marines in Beirut (more on that below)–practices “mercy-Islam.”
Read both of their worthy, on-target take-downs–Andrew’s and Diana’s.
And then, there’s your chief martyr–Mr. Mousavi. I’ve already told you several times about how he was 1) chosen by the Ayatollahs to be a candidate in the first place, 2) was a Khomeini acolyte, 3) fomented the 1979 Iranian revolution which held Americans hostage for 444 days, 4) started Iran’s nuclear development program, 5) supports the destruction of Israel, 6) founded the Hezbollah terrorist group which murdered over 300 U.S. Marines and Embassy officials in Beirut, and 7) is allied with Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the mastermind of the Hezbollah bombing murders of over 114 innocent people at the Jewish community center and Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires Argentina in the ’90s.
Now, we learn that not only did he found Hezbollah, but that he is responsible for the butchery of our Marines in Beirut . . . while they slept (and while they were there to protect Muslims from Israelis and Lebanese Christians).

Key Images of Iran’s “Green Revolution”: A Pictorial
This is Iran Before the “Green” “Democratic” Uprising . . .

This is Iran After the “Green” “Democratic” Uprising . . .

Any Questions?
Yup, it’s kinda the same thing as “This is Your Brain on Drugs.”
Religion of (Peace and) Amputation Justice; But Hey They’d Win a “Democratic Election”, So Let’s Go “Green” for ‘Em
Ah, the humane, tolerant, peaceful “Religion of Peace.” If only our courts were run this way . . . we’d be the world’s biggest amputee nation.
An Islamic court in Somalia that sentenced four men to have a hand and a leg cut off postponed the punishment Tuesday, saying the sweltering weather could cause them to bleed to death.
Thank Heaven for small favors.
The court sentenced the men Monday in the capital, Mogadishu, after accusing them of stealing mobile phones and guns. The court is run by al-Shabab, a powerful insurgent group that is trying to topple the U.N.-backed government and install a strict form of Islam.
“The sentence will be carried out later,” an al-Shabab official said, requesting anonymity because he was not allowed to speak publicly. “It was postponed because of the hot weather and fears that the victims will bleed to death.”
This is sharia. If you want to know why many of us lament this kind of barbaric “justice” coming to America (and it’s already here), that’s just a tiny taste of why.

Rafsanjani: Hezbo Jewish Center Bombing Mastermind & Your Partner in the Green "Revolution"
Not Easy Being “Green”: Congrats! You’re Now Allies of Hezbo Jewish Center Bomber Rafsanjani & Gay “Reformist” Israel/US-Hater “Amir”
Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, for the clueless (which means all of you groupthink fools supporting the faux-uprising of extremists), is the guy who is wanted by Argentina for masterminding the Hezbollah bombings of the Jewish community center (in 1994) and Israeli Embassy (in 1992) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At least 114 people were murdered. There is a warrant out for this former Iranian President’s arrest.
And, as I recently told you, Rafsanjani was the man sent by the Ayatollahs to Iraq to speed up Iraq’s status as a Shi’ite fundamentalist satellite state of Iran.

The court sentenced the men Monday in the capital, Mogadishu, after accusing them of stealing mobile phones and guns. The court is run by al-Shabab, a powerful insurgent group that is trying to topple the U.N.-backed government and install a strict form of Islam.
