Bogdan Strenger Inspires Pogroms

From 1648 to 1649, Officer Bogdan Chmielnicki, with an army of Russian Cossacks, local peasants and the support of the Tatar Khan of the Crimea, killed more than 300,000 Jews in the Ukraine. That wave of destruction is considered the first modern pogrom. From 1939 to 1945, Corporal Adolph Hitler, with an army of Nazis, sympathizers, and the deafening silence of the whole world, exterminated six million Jews in Europe. From 2005 to 2009, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of Iran, worked feverishly to build a couple of nukes with which to kill six million Jews in Israel. From 2008 to 2009, Comrade Carlo Strenger, Professor of Psychology at Tel Aviv University, with an army of local secularists, inspired pogroms in Ramat Aviv to scare away Orthodox Jews. (Added by Mordecai)

I would hereby like to nominate Professor Carlo Strenger, from the department of psychology at Tel Aviv University, for the Philistine of the Year Award.

Strenger is a far-leftist hater of Israel and Zionism who regularly explains to Haaretz readers why Israel is a horrible state unworthy of existence, but the Hamas is really misunderstood (A collection of Strengerism can be found here). But today Strenger goes beyond that to support hooligan violence against Orthodox Jews! Really!

The background to this is the continuing campaign of intimidation and violence by ultra-secularists in Ramat Aviv, where Strenger lives and where his Tel Aviv University is located, against Orthodox Jews. The ultra-secularists claim there is a cabal by the Orthodox to “take over” the neighborhood. You know, like the Elders of Zion. Read more >

Bra Burning Chicks for Peace in Palestine

The International Women’s Commission is yet another of those bash-Israel NGOs (non-governmental organizations) that pretend to be pursuing peace neutrally, whereas in reality they are promoting the agenda of Palestinian genocidal terrorists. It is different from the countless other groups because it consists of women. Naturally, it wants to achieve a peace that involves creation of a new state of “Palestine” and naturally it refuses to acknowledge any right at all by Israel to defend its own civilians from Islamofascist barbarism and Palestinian terror, not even its right to protect Israeli women. Its “narrative” of the Arab-Israeli conflict can be read here and is identical to that of the Hamas, except when it comes to proclamations about how important and nice women are. (Gloria Steinem is an honorary member, ed.)

What is noteworthy is what took place at a recent mahjong klatch of these gyno-racists. Even more significant is the fact that the goings on there were exposed and implicitly criticized by none other than Akiva Eldar in Haaretz on May 12, 2009. Eldar is a far-leftist anti-Israel fanatic and the only good thing ordinarily that can be said about him is that he is less openly anti-Semitic and less openly advocating Israel’s annihilation than his two Haaretz colleagues: Gideon Levy and Amira Hass. The house Republicans have not been doing much Right lately, but they deserve credit for reminding us of the dangerous Islamists held in Club Gitmo. Your tropical retreat from the stresses of Jihad is a fun place for Jihadis of all ages and ranks. Of course, the loonies on the Left are calling it fear mongering.

Muslims Riot in Greek Koran Kerfuffle

death-to-america-animation

Muslims are rioting in Greece for the second day in a row, demanding respect. The rioting Muslims injured seven policemen, burned more than 70 cars and damaged ten stores and one bank. They shocked and frightened tourists who ran for cover in nearby hotels.

Non-Muslims are retaliating and things are heating up. Three people were hospitalized in Athens Saturday morning after unknown assailants threw a gas canister through the window of a Muslim owned store. The attack came a day after violent clashes between more than 1,000 Muslim protesters and Greek police in central Athens prompted by the alleged “mutilation” of a copy of the Koran by police. Canadian Terror Groupie Hates America

Dr. Paul Hamel, Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, in the Health Studies program, likes to chill with terrorists and terror enablers. Not surprisingly, he also hates America. In 2005, he was encouraging Canadian researchers to refuse grants from the war criminals in the US Army on grounds that such refusal would “reduce global morbidity and mortality” or something like that. With Obamanomics driving the world into abject poverty, would you turn down a generous US Army grant?

Academics in the Service of War

Paul Hamel | August 31st 2005

In Canada, we have guidelines that strictly regulate the use of human stem cells and assisted human reproduction. Both Bill C-6 and the Guidelines on Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Research came about through public consultations with scientists, faith groups, the Canadian public and scholars in bioethics, sociology and law, among others. These instruments established guidelines for ethical research into and use of technologies with potentially profound life-saving medical benefits. Furthermore, the Guiding Principles include the notion that “Research undertaken should have potential health benefits for Canadians” and that the research should “Respect individual and community notions of human dignity and physical, spiritual and cultural integrity.”

As these instruments came into effect and the establishment of the first human stem cell lines in Canada was about to be announced, representatives of the U.S. Army were touring southern Ontario universities. The purpose of this tour was to make known to researchers at Canada’s premier research institutions the various funding opportunities available to them through the U.S. military. For example, through the Pentagon’s International Technology Center-Canada, Canadian scientists were asked for contributions in the development of systems enhancing the survivability, maneuverability or lethality of U.S. forces including “[technologies] to provide the warfighter the ability to autonomously deliver payloads (up to 30,000 lbs.) accurately from high altitudes (25,000 ft) and offset distances (20-30 km)” and “A fire control system that can perform tactical and technical fire control for both missiles and guns” able to “assign targets to the optimum weapon and fire multiple weapons at multiple targets.” Read more >

German Pope Sides with Jew-Killers

The Pope’s recent visit to Bethlehem was one of the most blatant displays of capitulation to terrorism that has been seen in recent years. How well I remember the way Christians were treated by Arafat’s henchmen, including Mahmoud Abbas his right hand man, during the Intifada. The Christian community was decimated, and is now only twenty percent of the population, when it was once the majority. Christian girls were kidnapped, raped, and forced to convert to Islam. Christians were kicked out of their homes by gunmen, who used Christian neighborhoods to set up sniper nests from which they shot into Jewish homes in Jerusalem’s Gilo neighborhood, and passing cars on the road (Dr. Shmuel Gillis, on whom I patterned the hero of my book, The Covenant, was killed on his way home from treating cancer patients at Hadassah Hospital by such a sniper.)

And then there was the siege of the Church of the Nativity. The priests and children held hostage by Arafat’s gunmen. The church desecrated. Priests holding up signs at the windows to Israeli soldiers “Please help us!”

The Pope, standing side by side with Abbas, chose to forget these things.

His words:

“Mr. President, the Holy See supports the right of your people to a sovereign Palestinian homeland in the land of your forefathers, secure and at peace with its neighbors, within internationally recognized borders.” Read more >

Hate in Occupied University of Toronto

Members of the Faculty at the University of Toronto have tried to stop Israel Apartheid Week on campus, to no avail. The donors, many Jewish, keep giving and the Jew-haters keep indoctrinating malleable young minds. People find it difficult to accept, but the reason the University of Toronto allows open Jew-hatred on campus is because they hate Jews. They willingly enable Jew-killers because they like dead Jews. Discomforting as the thought may be, there is no other answer. Dr Paul Hamel is a particularly sly “just under the radar” Jew-hater. He is an unnoticed volunteer worker-bee in the Islamofascist hive. Proof that mental illness does not stop at the gates of Academia.
Institutional Jew Hatred at University of Toronto – It’s Academic “Medicine, War and Occupation: The Case of Gaza

Steve Samuel: “Last night, at the University College building of U of T, a pseudo-medical presentation was made under the title of “Medicine, War and Occupation: The Case of Gaza.” It turned out to be a clear demonstration of hatred, intolerance and total opposition to any constructive dialogue. It was not only devoid of any scientific medical data but when the misrepresentations were challenged with documented facts the environment turned very ugly. I attended and, in the attachment to this e-mail, I have described in detail to my colleagues in DARA (Doctors Against Racism and Anti-Semitism) what transpired. I believe you will find it quite an “eye-opener” about what is taking place on the U of T campus under the guise of “academic freedom” and” exchange of ideas”. Read more >

Th Rain In Spain Falls Mainly On the Slain

Hamas, Law, Spain, Terrorism · By

Spain has been fighting against Basque separatist terrorism for decades and especially against the “ETA” organization, which seeks secession of the Basque territories from Spain. ETA is considered responsible for the deaths of more than 800 people in Spain, a number that pales in comparison with Palestinian barbarism. (And Spain has a population almost six times that of Israel.)

Spain’s anti-terror campaign made a mockery out of any concern for human rights. Collateral damage and injury to innocent bystanders were regular and common features of the campaign. Anti-terror paramilitary fighters and forces routinely engaged in torture of captured terrorists. Numerous death squads sought out the terrorists and their supporters, quietly exterminating them behind the scenes. The government pretended to have no knowledge of their actions. Government anti-terror personnel kidnapped terrorists and held them without any regard for habeas corpus. Anti-terror militias routinely crossed the borders and snatched terrorists hiding in neighboring countries or killed them there. Bombs were planted in order to kill the terrorists. Many of those killed or tortured were in reality not even members of or connected with any terrorist groups. Many of the anti-terror operations took place in violation of international law and even of national laws. To suppress the terror, the government threatened and pressured other countries to crack down on the refugees and to deport them. Read more >
