Barack Hussein Obama grew up in Indonesia, the son of a Muslim father. He studied in a Muslim public school. His friends were Muslims. His neighbors were Muslims. He absorbed the local culture, just like a boy growing up in Texas would have absorbed American culture. Obama formed his core attitudes in an Islamic environment. Can he empathize with Jews? In a conflict with Islam, would he Instinctively support American Civilization?
Last week the media discovered that Obama does not wear an American flag lapel pin.
Obama’s explanation is designed to deceive.
“The truth is that right after 9/11 I had a pin,” Obama said. “Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we’re talking about the Iraq war, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security.”
Obama was campaigning Thursday on the third day of a four-day trip to the early voting state.
At one stop, he called for new restrictions on deployment of National Guard and Reserve troops along with an expansion of benefits for them and their families.
“I will not be a president who extends tours for our Guard units overseas while Americans are stranded on rooftops right here at home,” Obama said.
After September 11, 2001, Obama had to choose. He chose to not wear the flag pin. He chose to speak out instead. What is he speaking about? Everything he says weakens America and strengthens the Islamists. Al-Qaeda could not script a plan more advantageous to the Jihad than the Obama platform. Obama had to choose and he chose Osama.
