Veiled Voting In Canada

YouTube Preview ImageQuebecois tend to be more belligerent than English speaking Canadians when it comes to defending their own culture. English Canadians have no culture. They like to say that their culture is multiculturalism, by which they mean blind tolerance of any alien culture, no matter how intolerant. Three cheers for the Quebecois women who pulled off this stunt.

Citizenship and Immigration Canada has very specific rules for Visa applicants. Every application must include two identical photographs showing full facial features: “If you must wear a head covering for religious reasons, make sure your full facial features are not obscured”.

Elections Canada, however, won’t back down on veiled voting.

Veiled women will not have to show their faces at polling stations in upcoming elections, but they may be asked for sworn statements in some situations to verify their identities, Canada’s chief electoral officer said Monday.

Repeat Performance

The nightmare is similar and the players are familiar. Like part two of a cult flick, the plot repeats but it is not as good as the original. This one may as well be named Son of Oslo. Israel survived the original, but is unlikely to survive a repeat.

The Oslo traitors, Shimon Peres and Yossi Beilin, have joined forces with the mentally challenged Ehud Olmert to trick the Israeli people into giving away Judea and Samaria, again. Three cowards are about to undo the work of the brave warriors of 1967. The following article explains why these traitors should be arrested, tried, found guilty, and executed.

On a relatively quiet day, the Jihad continues relentlessly on all fronts. We have reports from Iraq, Gaza, Israel, Judea and Samaria, Waziristan, Kashmir, Afghanistan, and Germany.

In Iraq, terror attacks killed 50 and injured more than 70.

Terrorists unleashed a slew of explosions across Iraq, killing more than 50 people and injuring about 70.

Two car bombs went off simultaneously on Wednesday at a market in Bayaa, a Shiite district in southwestern Baghdad, at dusk when people were about to have dinner to break the fast they keep in the holy month of Ramadan. The explosions killed at least 32 people and left 28 injured, police said.

Jews Were Here

Masada, pronounced Metzada in Hebrew, is a mountain fortress overlooking the South-Western corner of the Dead Sea. It was built by King Herod as a virtually impenetrable winter palace protected on all sides by steep slopes. It was captured by Jewish Zealots in 66 AD while Jerusalem was under siege. In 70 AD Jerusalem fell and 900 Zealots still in the city at the time escaped to Masada. The tenth legion, also known as Caesar’s legion, pursued and laid siege to the fortress.

The Zealots held out for three years as the Romans built a massive ramp that allowed them to bring ramming towers up to the fortress walls. When the Romans finally breached the walls and entered the compound they were horrified to find all the defenders dead. Flavius Josephus, a Jewish General who upon his capture changed sides and eventually became a great Roman historian, wrote that the Zealot leader, Eleazar Ben Yair, gave the following speech before the defenders committed mass suicide.

Jihad Means Peace (Just Kidding)

Historically Jihad had but one meaning – Holy War, and early Muslims spread their religion primarily through conquest and subjugation.

Liberals believe that Jihad translated into English means “struggle” or more precisely “peaceful inner struggle”. Where did they get that from?

In response to 9/11 Harvard selected a Muslim kid, Zayed Yasin, to speak at the 2002 commencement ceremony. Yasin originally titled his speech “American Jihad”, but after concerns were raised, he changed the title to “Of Faith and Citizenship: My American Jihad”, explaining that Jihad really means “inner struggle to do the right thing”. Yasin further defended the title by accusing his detractors of “Islamophobia”.

Yasin’s speech was a masterful weaving of takiyya tapestry. Takiyya means deception for the sake of Islam.

In the inverted world of the Israeli Labor party freeing jailed Jew killers is the key to peace. It is indeed the fastest path to peace of the grave. Fortunately, the Palestinian Fatah gang leaders have more sense than the Israeli Labor morons. Abbas is lobbying to keep Marwan Barghouti in jail. The last thing he wants to see is a competitor for power set free.

Arguably the most articulate politician in America today, Newt Gingrich, will be joining the race to become the Republican nominee for President. His announcement is conditional on raising $30 million to finance the campaign, but the current selection of candidates is so unsatisfactory to the Conservative base that he should have no problem raising the money.

Haim, Prof. Alice Shalvi and Dorit Ravinian, petitioned the Israeli government to kneel before Hamas. What is in a Name?

Norman Podhoretz, recipient of the 2007 Guardian of Zion Award, calls it World War IV.

Mr. Podhoretz’ book World War IV: The Long Struggle Against Islamofascism is very informative, but the implied sequencing misleading. Inasmuch as World War III, the Cold War, ended with the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1989 and the Islamists are still fighting, the sequence appears to be correct. However, Islam’s war on the West began 1400 years ago, when Muhammad started killing the Jews and Christians of Arabia.

The Islamists’ war on the West should properly be called the Jihad the Islamic Holy War, the name given it by Muhammad in 632 AD and used by his followers ever since. Of course, any name would be better than Bush’s “war on terror”.

Is there an Arab country the Bush administration won’t appease? Evidently not!

RAMALLAH, West Bank – U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has told Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas that Washington plans to invite six Arab states, including Syria, to a Middle East peace conference, Mr. Abbas’ aides said.

Mr. Abbas’ senior aide, Nimer Hammad, said yesterday that Washington would like Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, plus the Palestinian Authority to attend the U.S.-sponsored conference, expected to be held in November.

Miss Rice met with Mr. Abbas during her sixth visit to the region last week as part of efforts to prod Israel and the Palestinians closer to an agreement ahead of the conference.

“Rice told President Abbas in their meeting on Thursday that the U.S. plans to invite the Arab states delegated by the Arab League to follow up the Arab peace initiative. These … states, of course, include Syria and Lebanon,” Mr. Hammad said.
