A Few Good Men

From time to time some politician stands up and surprises us with insight and courage. We have noticed the existence of a tiny minority that swims upstream against the entire political river.

The Justice Department has decided to participate in the Islamic Society’s convention. Bush, Condi, Chertoff, and Gonzales are moderate Liberals. They just don’t understand the full scope of the Jihad. Reps. Peter Hoekstra, Sue Myrick and Peter King braved the wrath of the media to sound the alarm.

Republican lawmakers are urging the Justice Department not to participate in a convention held by the Islamic Society of North America — a group named as an unindicted co-conspirator in an ongoing terrorism-financing case.

In a letter to Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales, Reps. Peter Hoekstra of Michigan, ranking member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and Sue Myrick of North Carolina called the Justice Department’s involvement a “grave mistake.”

“In light of the threat that our nation is currently facing from radical jihadists, and because of the president’s commitment to fighting the war on terror on all fronts, we believe it is a grave mistake to provide legitimacy to an organization with extremist origins, leadership and a radical agenda,” the lawmakers said.

Rep. Peter T. King, New York Republican and ranking member of the House Homeland Security Committee, said he agrees that Justice officials should not attend the conference.

“It is absolute insanity for the federal government, especially the Department of Justice, to be giving any credibility at all to a group like the ISNA, which has such strong links to Islamic extremism,” Mr. King said.

Korean Capitulation

Islam has not made significant inroads in the Far East. China has less than 35 million Muslims in a total population of 1.3 billion and Japan has none. Only 35,000 Muslims live in South Korea, yet the country had to endure a painful confrontation with Islamists and was forced to capitulate.

The Islamists demonstrated that taking Christian hostages pays. In exchange for the release of 19 live hostages South Korea agreed to withdraw all of its troops, contractors, and missionaries from Afghanistan.

Israel’s Last Hope

The current Israeli leadership is hopeless. Olmert is prepared to surrender every piece of land captured by brave soldiers with much loss of blood. Yuli Tamir, Israel’s Minister of Re-Education, has eliminated Jewishness from the curriculum and replaced Israel’s Independence Day by Naqba (Catastrophe) Day for Arab students.

However, there is hope. The population mix in Israel is changing. Just like in the United States, secular Liberals have abortions while believers have children. Already 40% of the young officers in the IDF wear kipas. In the combat units the percentage is 50%.

Y Sexually Harassing X

After the Mark Foley incident and resulting 2006 electoral drubbing, you would think that the Republicans would keep their tools in the box for a couple of years. But some did not get the message.

Senator Larry Craig, R-Idaho, was fined for attempting hanky panky in an airport men’s restroom. Apparently, the Senator harassed the fellow in the next stall by tapping a secret gay code with his right foot. Don’t try to visualize this at home; it is not an appealing scene.

Scott Adams, inventor of Dilbert, has a great take on why the phenomenon of “Y sexually harasses X” occurs so frequently in nature.

CNN’s Balanced Anti-semitism

CNN has really done it this time. In a three hour special on religious extremism CNN allocated one hour each to Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. They equate the legal Jewish settlers in Judea to al-Qaeda and American Jews who support Israel to Islamist sympathizers. In the Christian hour Christiane Amanpour tries to alert the audience to the dangers of those scary Evangelicals. Even a Liberal American Jew from Philadelphia couldn’t help but notice the political correctness run amok.

Is Allah God?

Dutch Roman Catholic Bishop Tiny Muskens had an epiphany. In a flash it came to him. One easy concession and all would be well with the world. “Allah is a very beautiful word for God. Shouldn’t we all say that from now on we will name God Allah? What does God care what we call him? It is our problem. The Bishop proposed that “people of all faiths refer to God as Allah to foster understanding.” He divulged that in Indonesia, where he served for eight years, priests already use the word ‘Allah’ while celebrating Mass.

A survey found that 92% of the Dutch people think Bishop Tiny is a nut. The sentiments in the streets of Amsterdam were expressed by Welmoet Koppenhol in a letter to the editor. “Sure. Let’s call God Allah. Let’s call a church a mosque and pray five times a day. Ramadan sounds like fun.”

Dangerous Enemy

Condoleezza Rice and Bush have been arming the Fatah gang. Now, Vladimir Putin is rapidly arming Iran. Can’t let those Jews have a moment of peace.

Israel is looking into reports that Russia plans to sell 250 advanced long-range Sukhoi-30 fighter jets to Iran in an unprecedented billion-dollar deal.

According to reports, in addition to the fighter jets, Teheran also plans to purchase a number of aerial fuel tankers that are compatible with the Sukhoi and capable of extending its range by thousands of kilometers. Defense officials said the Sukhoi sale would grant Iran long-range offensive capabilities.

Government officials voiced concern over the reports. They said Russia could be trying to compete with the United States, which announced over the weekend a billion-dollar arms sale to Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states.

Despite Israeli and US opposition, Russia recently supplied Iran with advanced antiaircraft systems used to protect Teheran’s nuclear installations. At the time, Moscow said it reserved the right to sell Iran weapons, such as the antiaircraft system, that were of a defensive nature.

Why is arming Iran a problem for Jews and Americans? Watch the video clip below.

Ahmadinejad is a smooth Holocaust denier. Watch him play all strings that make a Liberal heart bleed. Brian Williams makes a guest appearance as the useful idiot.

In the next clip Ahmadinejad calmly and rationally outlines the situation, provides a historical background, lists Iran’s enemies (wish Bush would list Americas enemies with such clarity), and presents a plan for victory. America is Big Satan, Israel is Little Satan, and England is a historical villain. Notice how the word “nuclear” pops up in his victory plan.

Ahmadinejad is clearly competent and resourceful. Every day we let him prepare for war increases the likelihood of our destruction. If we don’t want his dreams to come true, should’t we bomb Iran now?

We don’t wish to make light of the danger posed by the little Jihadi, but this stuff is funny! Guaranteed to make you laugh.

Bush to Arm Jew Killers, Again

In addition to arming his friends the Saudis, Bush has trained and armed Palestinian “moderates” who used the new skills and guns to kill Jews. How compassionately Conservative was that? More than 1000 dead Jews since 2000! Now Condi, the wonder girl playing pretend global diplomacy, is planning to do it again, with Bush cheering her on. How stupid are these people? Words fail us.

United States-run programs that train militias from Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah organization have been utilized to kill Jews and were instrumental in the “success” of the Palestinian intifada that began in 2000, a senior Fatah militant trained by the U.S. told WND.

“I do not think that the operations of the Palestinian resistance would have been so successful and would have killed more than 1,000 Israelis since 2000 and defeated the Israelis in Gaza without these [American] trainings,” said Abu Yousuf, a senior officer of Abbas’ Force 17 Presidential Guard unit in Ramallah.

The U.S. has long run training programs at a base in the West Bank city of Jericho for members of Force 17, which serves as de facto police units in the West Bank, and for the Palestinian Preventative Security Services, another major Fatah security force.

This weekend diplomatic security officials announced the State Department will begin training Force 17 again this year in an effort to bolster Abbas against Hamas, which took over the Gaza Strip in June when the terror group easily defeated U.S.-backed Fatah forces in the territory.

More Virgins

The Israeli Air Force is keeping busy. Wednesday a senior Hamas Jihadi was eliminiated. Tuesday five more Shahids bit the dust. Running the numbers through our virgin-o-meter (TM) we get 432 new virgins.

5×72+1×72 = (5+1)x72 = 6×72 = 432

Early Wednesday, a senior Hamas commander was killed and three others were wounded in an IAF air strike in the Gaza Strip. The IDF said it struck a group of armed men who had approached the border fence with Israel.

Hamas identified the operative as Yehia Habib, a senior field commander in Gaza City.

On Tuesday, five Palestinians, including two children, were killed in three separate IAF air strikes on Kassam launch squads in Gaza.

In the first attack, three Islamic Jihad operatives were killed while traveling in a car near Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, not far from the Kissufim crossing.

Arming Our Enemies The Saudis

Since 9/11 2001 we have been disturbed by the failure of the Bush administration to accept the self evident truth that our number one enemy is Saudi Arabia. See Saudi Caliphate. In dealing with the oil tics, Condi is way out of her league. To us she looks like a teenager who put on her mother’s suit to play pretend global politics. She just does not get the Saudi way of playing the game. In a a Kernel of Evil Bret Stephens writes about the “wonderful” deal Condi negotiated with the Saudis to sell them $20 billion of advanced weaponry.

But whatever direction Saudi Arabia takes in the future, there’s also the question of what the U.S. gets from the arms sale. In an interview Sunday with Fox News’ Chris Wallace, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice noted that “the Saudi government announced that it’s going to put an embassy in Baghdad, something that we have hoped they would do for quite some time.” The State Department has also tried to entice Saudi Arabia to attend a regional peace conference with Israel later this year.

In fact, the Saudis have not announced their intention to put an embassy in Baghdad, merely their willingness to discuss it with an Iraqi government they have demonized at every turn. They remain similarly equivocal about the conference. It’s an old Saudi ploy. In November 1981, Abdullah, then the kingdom’s deputy prime minister, mooted a “plan” that promised recognition of Israel at a time when he was seeking to buy AWACs radar planes from the Reagan administration. The sale was approved; the plan disappeared.
