A Call to Action
From 1648 to 1649, Officer Bogdan Chmielnicki, with an army of Russian Cossacks, local peasants and the support of the Tatar Khan of the Crimea, killed more than 300,000 Jews in the Ukraine. That wave of destruction is considered the first modern pogrom. If those Jews would have been spared their descendants would number in excess of 30 million today.
From 1939 to 1945, Corporal Adolph Hitler, with an army of Nazis, sympathizers, and the deafening silence of the whole world, exterminated 6 million Jews in Europe. Their descendants would number 12 million today.
2000 years of culling by war, pogrom and random Jew killings, have reduced the Jewish people to statistical insignificance. Just two tenths of one percent of the world population and an almost invisible spot on the map! This would be of theoretical interest only, but for the emergence of an Islamofascist movement hell-bent on decimating the few remaining percentage points.
The Hitler of our times, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, President of Iran, says loudly, clearly and frequently that the instant he lays his hands on a couple of nukes he will wipe Israel of the face of the earth. Politicians, academics and media elites assure us that what we hear him say is not what he means, but he says that it is.
Osama Bin Laden, the popular leader of Al-Qaeda, wants to kill Jews because the Koran says that he must. After September 11, 2001 he praised the jihad warriors who hijacked the planes and issued a fatwa: “Therefore each individual Muslim should come forth to kill the Jews and Americans.”
Ahmadinejad and OBL may disagree on whose version of Islam is more authentic, but they agree on one thing – the Jews must go! The rulers of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Malaysia concur, but couch their Jew bashing in finer phrases when speaking to Western audiences. Around the world, a vast army of Imams and Mullahs whip the masses into frenzy, in the streets, mosques, and mandrassas. Theirs is a true example of globalization. What they globalize is hatred of Jews.
If you are not scared yet, read on.
Imagine, just for a moment, that it is 1937 and you are a Polish Jew living in Warsaw.
People you know are scared … saying strange things. They warn that in Germany, street gangs are attacking Jews. They predict that war is coming. They talk about Hitler, brown shirts and Nazis. They plead for you to listen. It all sounds so unbelievable, so outlandish.
And you don’t believe it. No one is going to harm the Jews. Whatever is happening is happening in Germany. Not here. Not in Poland. Such foolish ideas!
Besides, the shop is doing fine. The kids are happy. Nothing is going to happen.
And you go on with your life.
Of course, we know how this story ends.
Let’s return to 2008. You are a Jew living in Toronto or New York. You read that French synagogues are being torched; that in Paris Jewish children have to hide their Jewishness on fear of brutal beatings or gruesome deaths. In most European cities, merely “walking while Jewish” invites attack by “youths.”
You see that right here in America, Jewish students are intimidated on Ivy League campuses and the University administrators, fearing for their own lives, side with the perpetrators. You see the constant vilification of Israel in the drive-by media, academia and the United Nations. You see the “brown shirts” shouting down pro-Israel speakers on campus after campus. You hear that Mein Kampf is a best seller in the Arab world. Friends tell you that Europeans are reverting to old habits and joining forces with the Islamists and the movement is gaining strength.
2000 years of racial memory tell you that when enemies and fake friends say “it is not about the Jews,” then it is only about the Jews.
People are talking about a clash of civilizations.
But you don’t see how this can be. This is America, for heaven’s sake!
Besides, the shop is doing well, the kids are happy … and life goes on.
The clock keeps ticking.
Can you see how this story ends?
Benjamin Netanyahu, the former and probable future Prime Minister of Israel, likes to say that one candle cannot illuminate the whole room. We need more candles, voices to warn the world of the looming catastrophe. We need Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and Muslims to stand up to the Islamist preachers of hate and their Western allies. The Jews are but the first on the Jihadists’ list.
What can you do?
Whether you are a Jew or a Christian, learn all you can about the enemy and his jihad. Remember at all times that, regardless of whether your Liberal friends accept it or not, a religious holy war has been declared against you, by a movement within a rival civilization. If your leaders do not wake up and fight back effectively, your Judeo-Christian Civilization will suffer the fate of the Zoroastrians and the Assyrians.
Talk to your friends. Talk to your family. Join a political action group. Ask candidates, at all levels, questions about the war. Support only Conservative candidates who understand the existential nature of the struggle and are prepared to do whatever it takes to win. Dedicate yourself to winning, because losing this one means the end of everything.
Work to undo the enemy’s influence on your politicians, media and schools. Know that through such influence they have defeated great civilizations in the past. Take the fight to them, so your children don’t have to fight it out, with real guns, in the streets of the city in which you live. They are coming for you.
Act now! Don’t let the clock strike 1939.
